I've just been to Princess Helena College and they told me there's a tunnel from them to Hitchin Priory. That's 2.5 miles!. The end is blocked off now as unsafe. Also, in Hitchin arcade there is a door to the left of Collusions hairdressers. This door leads to a tunnel that also runs to the Priory, so I'm told. The door is definitely there and the council seem to store street cleaning materials in the entrance behind the door.
